The Charles Olu Foundation, a charitable organization based in Lagos, Nigeria, is dedicated to improving lives in underserved communities. They needed a brand identity that felt warm, authentic, and relatable while still carrying the professional weight to encourage donor trust and community engagement. The brand needed to connect on an emotional level with both beneficiaries and contributors.
We were tasked with creating a complete brand identity for the foundation, encompassing logo design, brand rationale, and a suite of branded materials. The goal was to capture the foundation’s core values of love, charity, and hope while ensuring the brand looked polished and professional.
Our design team brought Charles Olu Foundation’s vision to life through a cohesive brand identity package. Each deliverable was crafted with empathy, aiming to reinforce the foundation’s commitment to community support and trust-building.
Logo Design: The Charles Olu Foundation logo blends the initials “C” and “O” into a heart shape, symbolizing love and compassion. This simple yet meaningful design instantly communicates the foundation’s purpose and connects emotionally with viewers.
Visual Rationale: The logo’s heart shape represents warmth and charity, while the subtle integration of “C” and “O” reflects the foundation’s name. We chose earthy colors to convey reliability and a deep sense of community, ensuring the logo feels both inviting and sincere.

We crafted a New Year’s message featuring a warm, genuine greeting from Prof. Charles Olu, Founder & Chairman, C.O.F. This simple ad conveyed the foundation’s appreciation for its supporters and its commitment to continuing its work. The tone was friendly, uplifting, and approachable, designed to make supporters feel like part of the foundation’s extended family.
The new brand identity and New Year’s ad resonated deeply with the foundation’s audience. The cohesive and heartfelt design across all materials helped establish a consistent, trustworthy image for the Charles Olu Foundation, enhancing its connection with both community members and donors. The branding successfully reinforced the foundation’s mission of love and charity, making it memorable and approachable.
