Ibom Art Festival – A Canvas of Culture and Creativity

Celebrating the vibrant art and heritage of Akwa Ibom, one masterpiece at a time.

Project Info

Brand Identity Development

The Ibom Art Festival is a heartbeat for the creative culture of Akwa Ibom. Every year, it showcases the art, craft, and spirit of the region, bringing people together in celebration of indigenous creativity.

But here’s the catch: standing out in a world of festivals is no small feat. The organizers needed a brand identity as vibrant as the art on display—something that shouts “welcome home” to locals while wowing visitors. They came to us with one simple goal: make the Ibom Art Festival unforgettable.

We set out to create a brand that embodied the festival’s energy, rooted in cultural authenticity and designed to leave a lasting impression. From the logo to the event materials, every detail was crafted to reflect the soul of Akwa Ibom’s art scene.

Art isn’t just seen—it’s felt. With Ibom Art Festival, we wanted to craft a brand that sparks connection, pride, and joy from the moment you see it.

  • Face Motif: A nod to storytelling and indigenous craftsmanship, bold and rooted in tradition.
  • Geometric Patterns: Inspired by local crafts, celebrating precision and detail.
  • Flowing Shapes: Representing movement, diversity, and collaboration.

The Brand Assets:

We designed stylish, functional items to keep the festival spirit alive:

  • Tote Bags: Vibrant designs to carry art and memories everywhere.
  • Bucket Hats: Trendy and perfect for sunny days.
  • Hoodies: Cozy apparel to keep the festival close, long after it ends.
  • Lanyards: Organizing essentials with a branded flair.
  • Paper Cups & Pin Buttons: Practical keepsakes that add to the experience.
  • Scarves & Pillows: A touch of style and comfort, inspired by local art.

Event Info Flyers

We rolled out flyers for every stage of the festival, including:

  • Event Introduction: About the event, hashtag flyers, date announcements.
  • Hype Flyers: “Coming this November,” “Tickets Now Available,” “Headlining Act Revealed Soon.”
  • Vendor Flyers: “Market Your Magic.”
  • Artist Flyers: “Guess Who’s Coming” and artist confirmations.
  • Masterclass Flyers: For workshops held on November 22nd.

Event Stakeholder Flyers

To spotlight key collaborators, we designed flyers for:

  • Official partners
  • Official sponsors

Artist & Ancestral Spotlights

Artist spotlights with bios and features on Akwa Ibom’s ancestral art history gave depth to the festival’s storytelling.

Call for Flyers

These flyers were crafted to bring key stakeholders on board:

  • Sponsors & Partners
  • Creatives, Artists & Art Galleries

Research Flyers

To educate and inspire, we created flyers about Akwa Ibom’s iconic landmarks, linking art to heritage.

Special Highlight: Painted Photography

In a unique initiative, attendees were styled, painted, and photographed with event placards—transforming them into living art pieces. These images captured the festival’s essence, merging people with culture.

Results

  • The Ibom Art Festival’s rebranding elevated its impact, engaging attendees and celebrating Akwa Ibom’s cultural richness like never before.

This rebranding captures everything we wanted to say about Glamora. It’s bold, it’s timeless, and it makes our clients feel like they’re part of something special.
